FES system is easy to handle. There are just two controls:

• red guarded Power switch to enable/disable engine
• rotary knob for motor start, seting the power and stop

With FES, there is no altitude loss during the engine start procedure and no engine start delay due to pylon extraction time.

Power is available immediately, without any altitude loss. In critical situations, this is a remarkable advantage.
